Most of you have begun to navigate through the webquest "You Wouldn't Want to be a Roman Gladiator" What is something you know now that you didn't know about the gladiators before you began this journey?
In addition to responding to my post, you may respond to your classmates as well.
Something I know now that I didn't know before I began the webquest is that slaves who had been sold to a slave dealer were taken to a market place where they stood on a platform to see who would purchase them. If a slave had a disease they held up a sign stating there was something wrong with them. This was quite interesting to me. What do you think about this? Was this a fair thing to do?

I never knew there where many different types of gladiators and they have different types of weapons. Also, I never knew that some of the gladiators get saved and when they have lost the game some of them don't die some of them don't get saved they die.
